    Meet Gene Gravett, founder of Mr. Plumber Home Service Plumbing. Gene is more than a master plumber;  he is a true gentleman whose primary concern is about taking care of his customers in a fast, reliable, professional and affordable manner. 

    Plumbing and customer service are old hat to Gene.  He's had this same philosophy since he started his plumbing career over a half century ago which is expressed in his company's motto: "Trust earned the old fashioned way since 1957"

    Gene started his business in 1957 in Kansas City with $300 of borrowed money and God as his partner. He had a 1948 Chrysler his uncle had given him. During the week, he would take the back seat out of his car to carry his tools and supplies. On Sunday he would put the seat back in the car to take his wife and kids to church.
